Navisso responds to domain name grabbers and Navisso Search fans who register official product domain names.

(PressZoom.com) - Today, Navisso Search has published a statement regarding domain name grabbers and Navisso Search fans.

Navisso generally supports the freedom of registering a domain name but there simply have to be some rules if people decide to "use" a product name.

Natalie Wrens (Public Relations) said: "We have noticed a few unofficial domain names such as Navisso.de showing up, so here is our statement: We have no issues with people registering Navisso domain names as long as the content doesn't conflict with our company policy.

That said, we won't sue any individual registering our product name, but we will take action if any domain is used to mislead users."

Checking whois databases reveals that individuals are already registering Navisso domain names such as Navisso.de and others. Navisso commented there is only one "official" domain name which is Navisso.com. Any and all other extensions are not official product domain names.

"If you have registered a Navisso domain name, you may redirect it to us, launch some blog or do whatever you want to do as long as you don't mislead people.

Misleading people by framed redirects, launching a look-a-like search engine or ad-portal will force us to take legal action as such actions could cause confusion. ", Mrs. Werns added.
