(PressZoom.com) - Musician Paul McCartney is expected to find out how much of his estimated 1 billion dollar fortune he must give to his ex-wife Heather Mills today. McCartney arrived in court today which under British law will be heard in private.
The judge in the case, Hugh Bennett, will decide the ruling and may keep all or part of the details private. The only way to have the details officially revealed if they are made private is if one side appeals the ruling by the judge to a higher court of law.
Speculation has McCartney offering a settlement of $50 million with Mills looking to receive $100 million. "The judge may in fact give more if McCartney asks for privacy on all proceedings to protect himself against any book or movie deals." said Ted Lewis of NassauCountyDivorceLawyers.com.
Mills married the famous Beatles star in June of 2002 at a castle in Ireland. They have one child together and McCartney has three children from a previous marriage to wife Linda.
