NewMuse Productions Announces GenreClash 2009 Live on June 27, 2009
Last year, GenreClash attracted over 500 people from all over Long Island and set the standard as the innovator in local live music and art events. This year GenreClash returns in an all day extravaganza with live music, live art, belly dancers, break dancers, a custom car exhibition and a little bit of something for everyone.
(PressZoom) - Last year, GenreClash attracted over 500 people from all over Long Island and set the standard as the innovator in local live music and art events. This year GenreClash returns in an all day extravaganza with live music, live art, belly dancers, break dancers, a custom car exhibition and a little bit of something for everyone.
Genre Clash will take place on Saturday June 27th at The Nutty Irishman in Bay Shore, NY and will feature over 20 live artists, displayed art, digital art, live graffiti, photography, and a live, interactive "open canvas" that invites the public to create art of their own. GenreClash will display 12 live bands and 15 DJ’s performing throughout the day blending elements of hip hop, rock, trip hop, electronica, metal, and spoken word poetry in an effort to display the diversity of Long Island's underground sub culture.
The sights and sounds of GenreClash will be streamed live over the Internet and all of the action from this one of a kind event will be capture in the globally released GenreClash DVD.

DJ Cut Supreme Of 90.1 FM WUSB Radio, Cloud 9, Conceptual Elements, They Fall To Pieces, Revenge Of The Dragon, The Day Laborers, Bentleaf, Penguin Revolution, Alex Argot & Defpotec, FG, T Mission, Diet Kong.
- “HEAVEN” Upstairs Lounge Hosted By DJ Big Ears & Taline
Ft. Break Dance Battle, Live DJ Showcase, & an Emcee Battle where the 1st annual "GenreClash Emcee Battle Champion" will be crowned.
- Outside graffiti deck Hosted Michael Carbanaro
Ft. artists and guests creating on the GenreClash “open canvas”
Special Attraction by the Mean Green Ice Cream Machine complete with custom paint, graphics, hydraulics and even Ice Cream!
GenreClash will also feature a custom car show, belly dancing, an open b-boy battle, giveaways, prizes, art raffles, sponsored raffles, and so much more!
Tickets are $10 in advance / $12 day of event. Doors open at Noon until 10 P.M. with the minimum age being 18.
