Motorola and Data Capture Solutions Resolve Litigation
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – August 3, 2009 – Motorola Inc. (NYSE:MOT) and Data Capture Solutions Repair & Remarketing, Inc. today announced that they have reached an agreement to settle all outstanding disputes between the two companies. A lawsuit consolidating separate claims by Motorola’s affiliate, the former Symbol Technologies, Inc., and Data Capture Solutions has been pending in federal court in Connecticut since 2007.

A lawsuit consolidating separate claims by Motorola’s affiliate, the former Symbol Technologies, Inc., and Data Capture Solutions has been pending in federal court in Connecticut since 2007. Motorola and Data Capture Solutions have been engaged in settlement discussions for the past six months and have resolved their concerns related to mobile computing distribution and repair/refurbishment. Both companies are pleased to announce the settlement of all disputes and look forward to the continued success of both businesses.
